when “8″ looks like “0″ Some of our customers have sent emails suggesting there is a mistake with some of our pricing. They say, for example, that $10 minus $4 does not equal a discount of $4 on a book selling for $14 (with discount). There is a simple explanation for this. With our new online store the program automatically places a ‘minus’ sign (dash) over the retail price. Unfortunately, the dash intersects the "8" exactly in the middle and makes the "8" appear to be an "0". So, $18 looks like $10.
This week we have introduced a new product "The Rabbit and the Elephant" and, once again, this problem occurs.
